Toronto Island is one of my favourite places to visit because it reminds me of how diverse Toronto is when it comes to communities and lifestyles. Toronto has so many identities and the island is one of complete leisure and relaxation. It’s a funny little place to visit and I enjoy the pedestrian centred atmosphere.
The island is lush and green throughout the summer with beautifully maintained gardens.
Wildlife flocks to the island to get away from the concrete jungle, much like we do! You’ll find butterflies all over.
Especially windy days are complete paradise for kitesurfers off the island.
Being on the lake like this makes you feel like you’re on the ocean. It’s especially great to visit if you are feeling landlocked.
The island has 262 homes on it. How lucky they are to live here!
